UNCOVERING THE INSIGHTS THAT ADDRESS REAL CUSTOMER NEEDS

My journey has been a unique and rewarding one. I started my career in physical ergonomics, observing movement, and assessing a wide variety of jobs in the manufacturing space. This led me to expand into physical ergonomics/ human factors where I was able to incorporate more of those cognitive aspects of movement and decisions. Here I started researching best practices, applying those to products and then validating those choices with quantitative research. Here I made my way more and more upstream in the product development cycle entering into more qualitative and mixed methods research. My last 8 years was spent in a newly formed innovation lab wading through ambiguity and those big strategic questions where my research was often the first step in a series of iterations to determine those needs and behaviors that we strategically solved for. My work made an incredible impact seen in many products, enterprise software, apps, and services in the market today.
