My career began at the intersection of observation and optimization—assessing physical ergonomics in manufacturing environments, where I studied how people moved and interacted with their work. This foundation evolved into a broader human factors practice, where I integrated cognitive aspects into physical design, bridging the gap between body and mind.
As my work progressed, I moved upstream in the product development lifecycle. I began establishing research-backed best practices, implementing them in product design, and validating decisions through quantitative methods. This naturally expanded into qualitative and mixed-methods research, allowing me to capture the full spectrum of user needs and behaviors.
I discovered over the years, that I thrive navigating ambiguity and tackling strategic questions that shape product direction. My research has served as the critical first step in iterative processes, uncovering the foundational needs and behaviors that drive strategic solutions.
